Coffee ( 1:16 ratio, 1g coffee to 16g water)
Water (205°F, bottled spring water is best)

Digital Scale (a digital scale is essential to weigh mass consistently for best and repeatable results)
the recipe
Weigh and grind your coffee using the 1:16 ratio
Rinse the filter to reduce the chance of tasting any paper in your coffee
Place your mug, with the cone and filter on top, on to your scale
Add your ground coffee to the filter and make sure you tare your scale
Pour about 80-100g of water over the beans and let that sit for 1 minute (This is called the bloom and it helps release trapped Co2 so the remaining water can absorb all the flavors of the beans)
After 1 minute pour an additional 80g of water
Keep adding water, after it is all filtered, until your cup is full
Remove the cone and enjoy
